Vánky, Ustilaginales exsiccata

"Vánky, Ustilaginales exsiccata" is a smut fungus exsiccata edited and distributed by the Herbarium Ustilaginales Vánky (HUV). It contains smut fungi from all over the world. It is the sole exsiccata of smut fungi appearing after World War II. Nos. 1-800 of the exsiccata were distributed in 70 samples each, nos. 801-1000 in 45, nos. 1001-1350 in 33 samples (totally 76.550 samples). Of the exsiccata about 76.000 specimens were distributed to mycological herbaria or sent to mycologists from all over the world. 

   The 1350 numbers represent 615 smut fungus species, belonging to 68 genera, on 825 host plant taxa. The number of types distributed in the exiccata is 164.
